This programme is offered as an interfaculty programme of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Science.
The BSc (Hons) in Physics, Medical Physics and Radiation Protection is a taught programme in Physics and its most attractive applications in society at present ֠Medical Physics and Radiation Protection. You will acquire knowledge and cognitive and practical skills through the study of course material, participation in discussions, physics practical work, computational tasks, project work, demonstrations of practical onsite medical physics and radiation protection practices and participation in medical physics and radiation protection practice placements in hospital. You will study with students from both the Faculty of Science and also from the Faculty of Health Sciences to ensure that you are capable of bridging the gap between pure and applied physics. The course is future looking and very multidisciplinary and includes not only physics, mathematics, medical physics and radiation protection but also essential anatomy, physiology, ICT, ethics, management and legal issues.
Communication and Academic Skills Programme
The communication and academic skills programme complements students’ main course of study. It introduces them to writing and presenting as situated within academic contexts sensitive to specific disciplines and develops their competences for future careers.
